The Florida Mises Caucus opposes all gun laws issued at any level of government. We oppose all government directives intended to restrict, register, or monitor the ownership, manufacture, and/or transfer of firearms and ammunition. We stand vehemently against “red flag” laws, which violate the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 14th Amendments of the Constitution. We will actively rally support against any official or public servant who endorses or attempts to enforce such laws. The 2nd Amendment specifically states that the already-existent right to arm oneself “shall not be infringed,” as this is “necessary to the security of a free State.” The Constitution was designed to limit government power, not the very rights of the People of the United States whom the signers of the Constitution claimed to represent. The Florida Mises Caucus encourages noncompliance and civil disobedience against laws that infringe upon our right to keep and bear arms.

Join the Caucus
In order to reform the libertarian party nationally we need to come together, get involved, and become delegates with the intention of attending our State convention and the National Convention in order to put in place leadership that supports our founding principals of non-aggression and private property, as well as Austrian Economics.
