Out of an Abundance of Caution vulnerable people were denied necessary care advocates in hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Out of an Abundance of Caution sick people were prematurely placed on ventilators, essentially signing death warrants for those patients.
Out of an Abundance of Caution houses of worship were shut down, stripping Americans of their constitutionally protected right to Religious freedom; the very spark that founded this country.
Out of an Abundance of Caution an environment was created that sent suicide rates soaring, including suicides of children and teenagers.
Out of an Abundance of Caution, sick people were sent home without treatment by physicians who have all taken an oath to “do no harm” because they were scared of the very people they are sworn to care for.
Out of an Abundance of Caution service workers are still forced to wear a mask to perform the duties of their jobs. Meanwhile their patrons (including powerful elected officials) wine, dine and mingle maskless, waited on by this masked underclass.
Out of an Abundance of Caution our globally interwoven systems were recklessly and needlessly halted sending millions of the most vulnerable populations into starvation and per the WHO caused half a million additional tuberculosis deaths due to lack of care(2).
Out of an Abundance of Caution so-called “elective” procedures were cancelled or delayed. The death toll and permanent damage caused from missed cancer screenings, missed windows of treatment and untimely healthcare are still being tabulated.
Out of an Abundance of Caution, nurses, once considered heroes, are being fired for not taking a shot, leading to inevitable, harmful, healthcare shortages.

So, excuse me if I do not think that anyone in a position of power is properly analyzing the real costs of their policies; be they lockdown policies, mask policies, shot policies, or any policies that deprive us from making our own decisions.
I say, no more. No more acquiescing to those that operate from a place of fear, who are unable to predict the utterly predictable negative effects of those fear-based decisions. No more acquiescing to those that do not have to live (and die) with the “unintended consequences” they sow.
